Another card in trilogy of great train cards that I have just received from a kind friend while on her travels. through Germany..This card shows a train traveling through the Schwartzwold.( Black Forrest ). I just love old steam trains...well.. I love all trains ..but especially these as they are few and far between these days!! Thank you Jodie..hugs. Le Bonhomme : ALSACE .: FRANCE:

This is really a lovely scene of a small village in Alsace region of France.. Card shows the Village calle Le Bonhomme ( meaning the fellow ) and Bonhomme de Neige is a ( snowman ). What a lovely winter scene.

A most welcomed card from a fellow swapper...and so glad to hear from again.. Thank you dear Jodie for this card from Kayserberg . The home where Albert Schweitzer was born in 1875.  Also showing a multi view of other  local attractions and a lass in local traditional dress.... Thank you Merci...and yes!! will save you stamps from new release Chinese New Year of The Monkey 2016.

Another lovely card from a good mate in France.. Card shows a storks nest with three young.appear to be happy and settled in their nest on someones roof.and are always very popular with the locals.....A lovely card , and I really like bird cards Thank you Jodie you are a gem.

Colmar: FRANCE.:

 Another lovely card from Jodie for me from Alsace. A lovely card from the historic town of Colmar showing the Birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi.. The sculptor of the Statue of Liberty. The card shows multi- views and one is of a miniature Statue of Liberty in the Town of Colmar that was erected in his Honour  in 2004 . The sculpture of his "lion" can be seen at the base of the "Ciatadel". The lion represents the resistance against the French -Prussian war as Belfont was once a part of Alsace until 1871. What a lovely town scene it is ..a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee..
