What a great card that has just arrived from Namibia   from a good friend travelling there.  My favourite wildlife subjects are these naughty little Meerkats..  I adore these little animals..  they are so good to watch.  Thank you so much Inge for thinking of me on your travels ..   I cant beleive that it took eight months to gethere though !! that is amazing.. Thanks again my dear theis and south Africa are definately on my  bucket list..

    What a lovely colourful card of the "Blue Footed Booby" bird from The Galapagos Islands  .I am thrilled with this lovely card and thank you so much my dear Inge for thinking of me on you exciting visit to those amaxing Islands  . My thoughts and meemories of my visit there are still vivid and loved my visit through those Islands too be most memorable indeed .The Blue Footed Booby bird is just one of the many magnificent species that can be found there . and a Photographers dream of all the wildlife..  Thank you so much for this card and as you mentioned that the Equadorian Postal Service is bankrupt and this card had to posted from Geramany  Thanks again my dear friend.

 There are many releases by Australia Post of our wildlife   I love to collect a lot of the wildlife cards and send them to friends and postcrossers ..This is one that I liked very much showing these two very young Tasmanian Devils  .I love it .I have a friend who I have sekected to receive this card soon .She is a great artist and I am sure she will make a wondeful drawing of this lovely card.

  What a nice card !!  I just love all types of animals especially wildlife  although this is froma a zoo ....that is fine as zoos are institutions whre at least endangered and all animals are in a sfe environment. Thanl you Eliska for this lovely card showong this baby Tapir recently born in the Prague zoo.  I love this card and will add it to my wildlife collection. hugs Eliska!

 What a surpise and such a great card from a local Postcrosser.  Thank you Marja for this great Emu selfie   .  They are really amazing birds and must be watched out for when driving Australias outback highways . as  by  my experiencethey tend to  run obe way and then the next and really onemust be aware and slow down as they are usually in  a mob. Thank you so much fot this card which I will add to my wildlife collection.

  AUSTRALIAN EMUS : 
   The Emu is Australias largest bird and can grow up yo two meters tall.,they have  shaggy greay brwon feathers with very few on its head and neck .Emus cannot fly but have really long legs and can run at speeds up yo fifty kilometers an hour !  are so often  are mistaken and thought to be ostriches...  which is not the case !. They also can be very agressive  when approached.

 Another in this lovely series of State Birds and Flowers THis card shows the State Bird of New Hampshire "The Purle Finch" and what a lovely looking little bird it is  also shown is The State Flower of New Hampshire "The Purple Lilac" also a lovely coloured flower.   These three maxi cards are a first day of release cards issued in Birdwood South Australia 5234 on the 11 July 2022. Entitled "Buderigars"  nice Postmarks.!
 Budgerigars are a small parrot that is native to Australia and can be seen in flocks of many thousands by waterholes in outback Australias interior. They are fondly kept as pets and are good talkers !!

 This is a nice  card from China  showing this "Finless Porpoise" of the Yangtze River , the last remaining  cetacean only found in this river in China..  I hope that these lovely  marine animals survive the current onslaught of wildlife there. " The Grey Wolf " Mates for life and is found  living in packs of family members and relatives  The strongest member is the leader of the pack and all the members care for the young .Known for its howls ,the various growls ,whines ,yelps ,and barks helps to keep the pack togeather .A lone wolf will give a stunning and beautiful growl when seperated from the pack. These are a vanishing species due to hunting and trapping .
