 I just love train cards especially now the super fast trains  and this is the first to do so The Japanese Shinkansen.  This card shows a recent model and this is the Tokaido Shinkansen,, This is a must do for me and look forward to the day that I can ride these Shinkansen trains,This is a Postcrossing card and many thanks to Asami for this great card for my train collection.Arigato Asami..

 Tkaido Shinkansen is part of the Japanese  high speed rail line that is part of the Japanese high speed train Shinkansen network. ,along wth the Sanyo Shinkanse  it forms a continuous railway through the  Tokaido Corridor . This was opened in 1964 and runs between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka .This was japans first high speed rail line .Along with it being the oldest high speed rail line it is also the most heavily used . The operating speed is 2875 KMPH. ( 177 MPH ) .The Shinkansen networks sees many different models ( types ) of the Shinkansen

Another great train card  This card has just arrived and is a Postcard United card from a fellow swapper. Thank you for this nice card that shows a "Sleeper Train " . Apparently these type of sleeper Trains were extremely popular but about 15 years ago due to the High speed busses and trains now available most  of these trains have been discontinued. Thank you Norilito for this great card

What a great card..and thank you Tomoko..this is a great card and thank you for the swap..I have this train on my must do list..and am sure it is as good as all that have traveled on it say it is..This is a great scene of The "Shinkansen" train with the lovely Mount Fujiama in the background..
