Easter Island

  Wow.!! What a great surprise card this one is !!..from a friend visiting the Island  and has taken time out to remember me..so chuffed by this card . Thank you so much Carol for this and your kind thoughts. The card shows some of the many Moais (statues ) to be found on the Island. Easter Island is also known as Isla de Pascua or Rapa Nui . This island has quite an amazing history of which I cannot cover here. My visit here was a brief one and always said that one day I would return..such an amazing place .please read Aku Aku by Thor Heyardahl...about this Island.an interesting read.

Easter Island : CHILE.:
A great fun card (must be ) from a good friend showing the  big stone statues  (moai's )"beneath the surface" that are located on Easter Island.  These giant moai statues were carved by the Rapa Nui people who lived on Easter Island  (known as Rapa Nui )..Thank you Arnold for this card... I like it  a good swap.
