   Thank you my dear Ann.!  You are always so kind to me and I feel bad as I was down with covid  end of November and all of December and really let down my correspondence to all my dear friends,,  I thank you once again for your always kind thoughts and ggreat cards that you send like this card of Route 66 showing this red  Ford Mustang my favourite car and colour ! This brings back many memories for me of my visit to Oklahoma and a part of Route 66.

 Hoi An : VIETNAM:

 This shaped card shows the Japanese Bridge in the City of Hoi An  Vietnam. This is a most lovely bridge " ChuaCau" a footbridge with a Temple on the top.  I loved this when I visited Hoi An and found it to be such a colourful city as I always thought that it was the city of "lanterns" as the lovely colourful lanterns are all to be seen and I found a wonderful town to have clothes and shoes made for  customers within two days.. I would love to return to Hoi An as I thought it to bea great destination.. lovely stamps also Thank you again Trang ..Cam on !    so good.!

       The Japanese Bridge  Hoi An  VIETNAM !

 This marvellous bridge is located in Hoi An in Quang Nam Province in Vietnam ! and is also referred to as Cau Nhat Ban or ( Japanese Bridge ) The foot bridge is 18 meters long and 3 meters wide  with a small Temple that sits on the North end of the Bridge , with the entrance in the middle of the bridge overlooking the water , The two bridge heads are built with bricks with two spans each while the middle of the bridge has five spans placed on brick pillars going into the water . The building frame is made of wood and utilises three seperate but intergrated roof systems for the three portions of the Bridge . The Temple is a Taoist Temple. In February of 1990 The Chua Cau bridge was granted the status of  a National Historical Cultural Relic, In 2006 a 20,00 VND (Vitetnamese Dong ) was issued featuring the bridge .  The Structure is sinking due to underground erosion  and cauurent plans in place to prevent its collapse !

   Thank you dear Inge for this card from your recent  trip on the Rhine Ruver.  This is a trip that I promised myself but never did.The  lovely card shows the statue of "The Loreley"  a famous woman in German folklore  and is  located in the "Middle Rhine". This location  is a 132 meter high steep  slate rock  on the right bank of the Rhine River  "Rhine Gorge "  or (Middle Rhine ) or Sanky Goarshausen Germany and is part of the  Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The 1930's  Loreley Amphitheatre is on the top of the rock. "Loreley" herself is a siren of German mythology, of great beauty and delicious song ,who was placed on the rock on the Rhine .. and along with her song was known to seduce the navigators.,  her statue stands on the  banks of the river in The Rhineland . This is a Unesco World Heritage Site.

  L lovely card showng some of the lovely scenes of this beautiful town of Bedigo Victoria  famous fro its victorian Archtiecture  especially the magnificent "Shamrock Hotel " and of course its part in  the great gold rush of the early 1850s. A lovely town to visit and ride the trams visit some great pubs !thank you Keith for thinking of me on your recent trip there . What a great card ..just love naval ships and this is a famous one The first USS Arizona.BB39..I wont go into all the specifications as they can be read off the card ...needless to say a famous ship  Sunk at Pearl Harbour during the Japanese attack on the fleet on December 7th 1941..is straddled today where it sunk by a memorial to all lost there and on that day....Thank you for this card swap Jessika..
