Sydney : AUSTRALIA.:

This card makes me laugh..it reminds me of a reminder I once got that said . " While you were out fucking around !!!"  This card shows The Australian Emu one of only three flightless birds on this continent and six worlwide..A great card fo my flightless bird collection   which is very small and a great recent release by Australia Post.. I love it..I must say they are great to see in the outback with a group of chicks just following along  ..but dangerous on the road.!!

Phillip Island : VIC

A really nice souvenir card that I chose when visiting Phillip Island on a recent road trip in southern Victoria..The card shows the really lovely little Penguins that are only found here in the Southern waters of  Australia with their largest existing colony to be found  on Phillip Island..
At just 33 cm tall these small ink blue penguins are the smallest of all the 18 different species of Penguins. and is unique as it waits for sunset before coming ashore. This is a huge attraction for visitors . Certainly a wonderful place to visit May 2014
