United States of America.

Cleveland : U.S.A.

Two of the greatest contributors to early Rock and Roll. Little Richard (left ) and Bill Hayley (right ). both were very early big hit makers Bill Hayley with probably the first big hit with "Rock around the Clock."followed by many others but the original hit was a big winner for Bill Hayley and his band the "Comets".. Little Richard burst onto the early Rock and Roll scene with a huge band that included saxophones that were to be popular with early "big sound" Black Bands ie.   the fabulous" Fats Domino."  Little Richard was certainly in the right place at the right time with his amazing full on Rock and Roll with the likes of" Long Tall Sally" , "Lucille, "  Tutti Fruitti" and many more first class hits..two of the greatest early rock artists..for sure....
This is a souvenir postcard of my visit to the amazing "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" in Cleveland Ohio. A trip that I made especially to visit this wonderful museum and I must say a must" for Rock and Roll and other Music lovers.

United States of America

Seattle : WA.                                ERIC CLAPTON'S STRATOCASTER.

THIS IS THE AMAZING "EXPERIENCE MUSIC PROJECT"  EMP MUSEUM IN SEATTLE.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY GUITARS.  EMP SEATTLE.

I DONT KNOW EITHER !!!
SPACE TOWER IN SEATTLE.  WA.

Although Eric Clapton played many various guitar makes and models ,over the course of his musical career, This particular 1956 "Sunburst  Fender Stratocaster", known as "Brownie" was a favourite and was to become one of his signature guitars and most favoured. Eric Clapton purchased this guitar in 1967 while he was still playing in the group " Cream " ( along with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker) but used it for most of his recording with it after 1969.
This is another great cards that I got as souvenirs to my visit to the amazing Music Museum  EMP  "(The Experience Music Project) "while staying  in Seattle Washington..a "Rock" music lovers "must" place to visit.. Imagine the amount of "licks" played on this Strat..!! I also have a tobacco burst Strat.
Also if you are a big fan of either Kurt Cobain or Jimmy Hendrix.or famous guitars .The EMP Museum in Seattle is the place for you with so much of their musical memorabilia it will blow your sox off. This postcard was a souvenir of my visit here on my "Around The World by Train ( USA ) .

CHUCK BERRY'S  RED GIBSON:

Chuck Berry's Gibson guitars broadcast some of the most famous Rock and Roll" licks" and songs to grace the era that was "Rock and Roll" amazing songs that everyone recognises from the era.like "School Days", Johnny B Goode, "Sweet Little Sixteen"These songs were, and still are legends ... He owned this particular Guitar in the early 1970's. When Chuck Berry Autographed this guitar he added a cartoon face to the autograph and the face was staring "blankly "instead of a smiley face the mouth was "straight". This is another  "Guitar "Souvenir card that I got from  EMP The ( Experience Music Project) while in Seattle Washington on my visit there. I wanted to visit Chuck Berry's "place " called Blueberry Hills last year while I was in St. Louis and listen to some of his legendary music but unfortunately he was away at the time.....my luck..

BO DIDDLEY'S  GUITAR :

Bo Diddley had" Gretsch Guitars" custom build four rectangular electric guitars based on an instrument he created while attending vocational school between 1958 and 1962. Although Bo Diddley expected to become a skilled labourer,  building and playing the guitar nudged him towards a musical career that turned out to be very successful. This is a card that I got as a souvenir from an amazing music Museum that I visited , EMP  (Experience Music Project ) in Seattle Washington. This museum is a music lovers dream to visit such an amazing place an unforgettable experience. I visited this museum while staying in Seattle on my journey around  the country by train. I love this card..I also love the sounds of BO playing it !!
