  Thank you so much dear  Karman  I love this card !  you always send me nice cards from such a beautiful place.  This is another lovely colourful cards showing "Stanjel"  and I am told is one of the oldest settlement is the Karst . The village is built on the terraces of Turn Hill. A part of the castle and The Church of  St. Daniel can be seen with its lemon shaped bell tower. Tank you so much mydear for this nice surprise card.. hugs !

 San Marino is  the smallest and oldest Republic in the world  !  San Marino is a small country and a Micro State in  southern Europe an enclave of Italy and is located in  north eastern side of the  Apennine Mountains.  San Marino covers an area of 61 SQ kilometers. and has a population of  33,562 inhabitants. The currency is the Euro and The language is Italian. This is one of four small countries ( principlaities )  in Europe the other three being Andorra ( Spain )  , Monaco  ( France )  and Lichtenstein ( Switzerland ).

The card shows The Scloss Convey located in The town of Hoxter in North Rhein Westphalen. Originally  founded in 1815 as a monestary and then became a  castle in 1792  and now a Unesco site since 2014 . Thank you Frank for this card and stamps.

The Eilean Donan Castle is located at the mouth of Loch Dulch and is one of Scotlands most famous land marks , it dates from the 13th Century and was heavily and constantly attacked during the Jacobite uprising in 1719. The ruins of the Castle  were rebuilt in the early 20th century and the castle is now a prominent tourist attraction

Mayen used to have a hue basalt industry exporting it all over the world and many famous buildings were built with this basalt.and was formerly known  as Mayenne Gold".
