  Another World Postcard day card.   This one is from France.  Thank you so much  Catherine for this lovely locally  designed card from a member in our group for World Postcard Day  ..Well done ! Thank you for thinking of me on this day ! I am so lucky as I have received three cards for WPD  in the ast few days..  Sorry to see the stamp destroyed by a lazy postal worker !! ,, it appears that it is quicker to scribble on the stamp with a pen rather than to use a stamp to cancel the stamp !

  Lighthouses are anotherfavourite of mine mainly because they are never the same, This is a special lighthouse card as it is a UNESCO world Heritage site.  Thank you   Merci Beaucoup  Morima for this great card choice.  This is a Postcrossing card and This  active lighthouse is the Cordouan and is located in South Eastern  France .

 Cordouan Lighthose : Is an operating lighthouse that is located 7 kilometers  ( 4.3 miles ) out at sea near  the mouth of The Gironde Estuary , at a height of 67.5 metrs high ( 22 feet ) it is the tenth highest "traditional "lighthouse in the world. The Courduan light house was a listed as a National Monument in France in 1862 and recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2021.

 What a great card.!  I just love the little French cars The 2CV..  I remember them so well after getting so many lifts while hitch hiking in Europe and North Africa..  amazing little car for the not so rich.. Thank you ( Merci )Anastasia for this great card sorry to hear that you cannot travel anymore and hope that all is well for you...stay safe there .hugs.
 The card shows this 2CV with surfboards probably around Biaritz.. also other thimb nail attractions..

 A Unesco World Heritage card is always great to receive as these special places  are unique in may ways and different catergories. This is a surprise card and it shows the old salt works closed in 1962 and now. a big tourist attraction and made a Unesco World heritage site in  2009 in addition to the Royal Salt Works of Arc.!! Thank you Blue for this great card
