This is a real tourist attrection  bring many foreign tourits tothe market place ..The majority of the market women are" Lombani " originating  from Afghanistan.  Another lovely card from the great group of cards that were sent recenly received  in a very thoughtful package from a truly great friend in Vietnam.  Thank you so much Trang for being so kind . This card shows two  Glay Girls from Lao Cai Province .with one holding a small chicken that I guess is  to be getting ready for their dinner . Thank you once again Trang !The card says that these girls are characteristic of the ethnic minority groups.

  I really love to receive these cards of various indigenous groups and ethnic peoples .  I have been fortunate to receive some of these cards recently with the kindness of a great friend in Vietnam. This cards shows photos of what is characteristic of these ethnic  minority  groups These women are  Ha Nhi girls in the area of Ha Giang  Lao Cai  Province in Vietnam, such lovely colourful clothes and adornments.

I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends  and Thank you so much Trang for this yet another lovely card  attatched with a beautiful stamp sheet postage.. amazing ! I love it  ! and your thoughtfulnees to get these special stampsheets and cancellation stamps for  me as I know the trouble that you must go to do that .. sometimes Post Offices can be a long wait !! 
The card shows fishermen at dawn preparing for  days fishing  at Phon Thiet !  and I am sure there are women envolved here also. I was so taken by the women in Vietnam as they work so hard .. and appear to doeverything !! Once again!  What a lovely stampsheet with cancellation.

Thes cards  are really nice and will put them all on over time.  I beleive that Posstcards from Vietnam are the nicest of any that I receive . I trust that all was well with that recent typhoon and it did not cause you any trouble and evryone was safe !  hugs ! nice stamps !!

 A lovely colourful card from a good frendin India..  and from a visit to Rajajsthan is this card showing The City of Pushkar and is the gathering place for the religious peoples called "Sandhus".  India a most facinating place of so many varied peoples..  I would love to return again as there is so much to see and do in India.  Thank you so much Poonam you send me wonderful cards.

 A lovely colourful card arrived yesterday..  What a surprise as it was posted 7 months ago ! There was a postal stamp. "Missent to Botswana " amazing !. Thank you fror this lovely card Arnold and am so happy that it has finally arrived after such a long and round about journey. . This is another card in the series of "World Fashion " and local and indigenous dress .  This being native American.

  WOW  what a great surprise card  ..I must say I love cards that are military oriented..  This card shows The Mounted bodyguards of The Indian President, in the  changing the guard  ceremony as they narch past the Rastrapati Bhavan in New Dehli..  These mounted Lancers look fantastic ..  A great card and thank you Poonam for thinking of me once again with a great card . Would loved to have witnessed that when I was in New Dehli ..

 Thank you once again Poonam for this indigenous peoples card   I really like these cards as they  are  very interesting . This is a Maxi card with lovely stamp and canecellation. I beleive a form of commemoration.  The card shows The Naga tribal Hat. and inset of the tribal group. Thank you so much for this fibe card  and stamps !   it states:
  THE NAGA HAT :

The Naga Hat can only be worn by succesful headhunters ,that Naga warriors used to be.
  ChangNaga warriors wore plaited cane work helmets ornated with Hornbill birds tailfeathers bear or goat hair with two boar tusks The chin strap is decorated with ten tigers claws of a tigers two front paws.

People cards are always so nice to receive  and to see the amazing variations of Indigenous peoples cultures and amazing traditional dress there is..  This a a card showing ingigenous peoples of Taiwan  celebrating at the Harvest Festival and also it  respects  all passed ancestors..  What a great card thank you once again Poonam this is one of the four postcards that you have sent at various times and all arrived here on the same day amazing !!!  The Postal system  being what it is these days is just so unpredictable !!!  these are just four great cards ..Thank you so much for thinking of me and your nice messages. This card is of a  Galo couple seen in traditional dress  . These particular indigenous Galo peoples are  an Eastern Himalayan  mountain tribe who primarily inhabit the West  Siang District of modern day Arunachal Pradesh State in North Eastern India.
