 A nice map card showing the various areas in Laos.. also there are some thumbnail pics of local Laotians in National dress the mysterious Plain of Jars, the National Flag of Laos and some nice architectural scenes. This is a most wonderful and interesting country to visit and spend some time.. I really loved Luang-Prabang the most..Thank you for this nice card Parco I appreciate you thinking of me..

Laos

                                                              Laotians in National Dress.

Luangprabang :  Laos.                      Basket seller in Luangprabang.

 To see the many minority groups here is amazing ..so colourful in their native dress and so friendly..My visit to Laos was an interesting one and would liked to have stayed longer..and must say Luangprabang was my favourite place. Right on the Mighty Mekong River boat rides here are for the adventurous..I was especially taken by the well kept old French Architecture that is to days Luangprabang..Laos..a great place to visit. I particularly liked this colourful souvenir card to post home as this was a wonderful stop on my "Around the World By Train" Journey.

Haw Pha Kaew. Vientiane.LAOS :

 The days of trains in Laos are long gone and my arrival in the Capital Vientiane was by bus from Vang Vieng. I enjoyed my stay in Vientianne but was a little tired of being propositioned every where that I went while out and about ...especially at night..Even the hostel had a sign at reception.."NO PROSTITUTES ALLOWED IN ROOMS.." amazing really..I found a local Australian butcher and got a wonderful big T Bone steak for my evening meal...a real treat..
