  Thank you so much dear  Karman  I love this card !  you always send me nice cards from such a beautiful place.  This is another lovely colourful cards showing "Stanjel"  and I am told is one of the oldest settlement is the Karst . The village is built on the terraces of Turn Hill. A part of the castle and The Church of  St. Daniel can be seen with its lemon shaped bell tower. Tank you so much mydear for this nice surprise card.. hugs !

 Lake Bled  is located  at the foot of The Karawanks Mountain range near the border with Austria. and is about 50 kilometers northwest of The Nations Capital city Ljubjiana. The  Lake is in the Upper Carniolan region of north western Slovenia where it ajoins the town of Bled . This is a major tourist destination .Bled Castle is a mediaeval castle  built on a precipice  above the City  of Beld in Slovenia overlooking Lake Bled. The castle is beleived to be the oldest castle in Slovenia and is the most visited tourit attractions in Slovenia. Nowadays the Castle is employed as a Hustorical Museum  with a collection that represents the Lakes history.
  Bled Jazero Railwa station is the  Principal Railway Station in Bled  and is located above  the west coast of Lake Bled.

Thank you Roland for this Postcrossing card  of this ver colourful "Trolley Car "  so great to see  these in some city streets of the world. I recently visited The Tram Museum here in sydney that has a host of International trams (trolleys ) to see and some t ride in.  so nice   a great day out !

A lovely colourful "surprise card" from a friend in Slovenia.  Thank you so much Karmen for this lovely card. The card shows  these Istrian women gathering  Ru-bush that is sold in the local markets as in Autumn this Ru-bush turns a bright red and is often used as a dye for materials Thank you again Karmen nice card !

I was close in Slovakia but ran out of time and money  but I would love to visit when possible,, The card shows a colourful street scene in Ljublijana  ..Thank you Sunny stay safe..

Marc had discovered a route that Eurasian Brown Bears often used in Slovenias Notranjska Regional Park and so set up his camera alongside the path..but the observant bears which are hunted in Slovenia must have noticed something and changed their ways. it finally took 14 months to get this photograph.

This was a surprise card that took a long time to reach me here ..The card shows the very popular tourist destination in Slovenia and it is the "Bled Castle and Lake"  and how nice it is...Bled Island is a small island located in the middle of the lake that is the location of a Baroque Church .Thank you Karmen for this interesting card...
