  WOW..  What a great surprise this great card from Mexico and the World Heritage Site ..and also wonder of the World.  Chichen Itza in Mexico.  This amazing pyramid of Aztec culture  is  being a Wonder of The World is a huge attraction for tourists and sight seeres from all over the world.  They say that at  the spring and fall equinoxes  (March 21st ) the north face is the scene of Kulkans deccent to earth. Thank you so much Mel for this great card I am sure that your visit there was a great experience it is on my "bucket list " too.. Thanks again hugs..

What a great card showing this Aquaduct in Queretaro . This is a Unesco World Heritage Site and must be so impressive to see.. Thank you so much Wendy for this fine Postcrossing card..
This Aquaduct was built by Marques de la Villa y del Villar to supply the city with water , it is 1280 meters  (4200) feet long and has 74 splendid arches,the highest of which measures 23 meters (75 feet)

 MEXICO  has a land area of 1,972,550 KM2. with a huge  POPULATION of 121, 736, 809. 
The CAPITAL CITY :  is Mexico City.: and there are over 800 Postcrossers in Mexico.( not many ) !!
UNUSUAL HOLIDAY is  : El Dia De Los Muertos ( The day of the dead ). The Deaths head is A common symbol of the Holiday as The skull celebrants represent in masks  called " Calacas "
CHIHUAHUA: is the smallest breed of dog that originated in Mexico and named after the state in Mexico.

Thanks Lando for sending this card of Queretero a town located about 3 hours north of Mexico City.. and is part of the Tierra Adentro that connected the The Capital City and the north of the country..This is a Unesco World Heritage Site..  What a great card..says so much ..I think there is something amazing about volcanoes and their ability to just cause so much mayhem in a minute.and change the whole environment for everything...This card shows the Volcano Popocatepetl located located in the suburbs of the city and is 5,432  meters in height..The name Popocatapetl comes from the "Nahuati' words popoca  "it smokes"and tepetl  "mountain" thus the "Smoking Mountain."

 What a lovely scene this is make you want to just want to jump in...The lovely white clouds on a beautiful bright blue background streak across the sky over this lovely Bay in Baja California.. This is The bay of Belandra in the Mexican Baja Peninsular part of a large World Heritage Site famous for its amazing bio-diversity of animals and plants..
