 What a lovely colourful card that  has just arrived from The USA.. Thank you so much Arnold ! You really spoil me with your travel cards.  I so appreciate your thoughtfulness. This card is from the huge festival that is held yearly in New Orleans and something that I have  always wanted to see   as it must be so much fun .. I have visited New Orleans and enjoyed its great food ..  The Carnival must be something to see .  Thank you Arnold once again ..  Great stamps !

These cards are my favourites that show lovely women in their traditional dress and this one is just so nice showing these women wearing their "Giddha" dresses a popular folk dance of women  in the Punjab region. Thank you Vinjay for this lovely card and will add nicely to my women in National dress collection of cards .This is a surprise card.

People cards are always so nice to receive  and to see the amazing variations of Indigenous peoples cultures and amazing traditional dress there is..  This a a card showing ingigenous peoples of Taiwan  celebrating at the Harvest Festival and also it  respects  all passed ancestors.. Thank you so much  Xie Xie Mimi for this nice card  ,,This is a Postcard United card. Thank you alsofor the train stamps.!

 I love festival cards and also masks.. This card shows people celebrating the "Moriones Festival " in Marinduque Philippines celebrating Holy Easter Monday and Easter Sunday;

The Moriones refers to the masked and costumed perments who take part in the re eenactment of the Legend of Longuinus and the passion of the Christ Morions . They roam the streets of the town from Holy Monday to easter Sundayscaring the children and engaging in anticsor surprises to draw attention.. This festival is characterised by colourful Roman costumes,  brightly painted masks , helmets and tunics.

Im afraid this is  not my sort of festival !!!

Must be so wonderful to attend or be part of these wonderful Native American Pow Wows festival. Thank you again Keith for this and other cards from your recent journey to The Philippines.. This colourful card shows the many masks of festival goers at this "The Masskara Festival"that is held in Bacolod city..
 Masskara is coined from the word "mass" which means crowd and the Spanish word "cara" that means face. The two words combined have become the local word for "Mask". The festival showcases colourful costumes of masks made out of papier mache and molded clay. The Masskara Festival is held on the weekend closest to October 19th.

A lovely colourful card showing a festival dance.. The Sua Sua dance.This is a dance from Jolo and is a dance of courtship accompanied by a song performed by the lover to his ladylove , comparing her to the delicate little white blossoms of the Pomelo.

A lovely colourful card from Hong Kong .A postcards United swap card showing the Chinese Festival at the Man Mo Temple.
 Built in 1891 The Man Mo Temple of Tai Po served as the Tsat Yeuk Rural Committee Office until 1954 when it became a Temple to Honour The God of Literature (man ) and the God of War (Mo ). Then in 1984 it received government protection as a "declared monument "and was fully restored to its former glory in 1985.  Thank you Agnes for this lovely card.

 What a lovely multi - view colourful card this is showing the celebrations and Carnival in Tagbilaran City Bohol...This is the Sandugo Festival.that is a month long festival held every in July in Commemoration of the 16th Century peace treaty that occurred  on March 16th through a blood compact or a "Sandugo" between Datu Sikatuna . a Chieftan in Bohol  and the Spanish Conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legaspi.The Carnival showcases Miss Bohol Sandugo beauty Pageant and street dancing competition.Thank you for this swap card.
