 SINGAPORE :

 A lighthouse card arrived today as well and I like these cards as no two lighthouses are the same. This is from Singapore and is The Fort Canning Lighthouse . The lighthouse is located on the top of Fort Canning Hill and was one of 13 lighthouses gurading the Straits of Malacca. Located nearby with the :Flagstaff " and the time bell  these three naviagational structures played an essentilal role in the Navigational history of Singapore.

  I always love to receive these Postcrossing meet up cards and look to see who signed and who the attendees were  This ia a great card of the recent Postcrossing and was the 10th Annual Singapore mmeet up  event held on the 10 October 2021.of local postcrossers and so good to see so many different personal stamps of those attending..  I am not sure in all the signees who actually sent the card but   I really appreciate it and thank you all..This is a surprise card and maybe sent by Ray Choo..if so thank you ..

The card shows A Singapore Airlines stewardess was caught stealing a last glance in the mirror  just before the start of The National Day Parade on August the 6th 1976,.. Thank you so much Adriana for this card  This is a surprise card .  The card shows The Raffles Marina  lighthouse  that was built in 1994 and is one of the new Lighthouses i Singapore and is the only one that is not manned by The Marine Port Authority of Singapore/ Thank you Adriana.

 A surprise card arrived today from a fellow memebr  but cannot tell the signature. The card shows  a Malayan Porcupine  and is a crd from the Singapore Zoo. The Singapore Zoo is a wonderful  place to visit when in Singapore and their bird park is also a wonderful site to see..  Thank you for this card and will add to my wildlife series of Cards.

A lovely butterfly card has just flown inot my mailbox  for the second day I have received two postcards  .. Things are looking up with the postal service..This is a Postcrossing card and shows a lovely butterfly from the "Butterfly Garden" in Changi Airport. Thank you so much Zoe for this nice card   and stamps.!!

The Butterfly Garden in Changi Airport (Terminal 3 )  is the first butterfly Garden in an airport and is designed  as a tropical butterfly habitat.with a pfusion of flowering plants and lush greenery with a 6 meter grotto waterfall  Thee are more than 1,000 butterflies from as many as 40 species to be seen during the differentseasons in the garden,  it isnt any wonder that this is the best airport in the world !!
