 A souvenir card sent home from a visit to this venue.. The Big Pineapple in Nambour Queensland..This is the Sunshine Plantation in the Sunshine State . A very popular destination of locals and overseas visitors. Of course featuring the "Big Pineapple " ( 15 .25 meters high ) This tropical village also includes a tropical fruit market  along with a restuarant . There is a small train that one can take on The Sugar Cane Train through the diversified tropical plantation. The kids loved it..

Tamworth  NSW.
  The" Big Guitar" is a prominent land mark here as this is the Country Music Capital of Australia. A huge influx of "Country Music " fans descend on Tamworth  in January each year to listen to many and varied artists in different venues and also street musicians .The  Country Music Festival of the year  brings young hopeful musicians from all over the country to seek fame and fortune. Many overseas artists are also invited to this event..Posted on a really wet day in Tamworth

 Crossing The Nullabour Plains..Take a break and visit ".The Big Galah"..located halfway across Australia at Kimba.
Constructed by the Venning Family in 1993.Stands 8 meters high,2.5 meters wide and weighs 2.3 tons.Constructed with high tension birdwire and fiberglass..These "Big Ones" across Australia are many and varied..Thanks Keith for this card.
