 Thank you so much dear Ann for all these lovely cards and your kind wishes . This card showsShattuck Windmills Museum and Parks in Shattuck  Oklahoma.  These beatiful array of red and white windmills  date from 1887 to 1922  and come from various ststes  for restoration. Thank you again my dear I would like to visit this museum one day.

Shattuck : OKLAHOMA : USA.

This is another one of the many lovely cards sent to me by a friend when visiting this Windmill Museum in Shatuck  Oklahoma ..How colourful they all are captured in this photograph  a lot of lovely red and white.These winmills date from 1887 - to 1906 to - 1922 and in sizes from 10 - 14 feet in diameter .They all came from various states. for restoration here. What an unusual Museum.

Thank you again Ann for this another of the so many windmill cards from the Shattuck Windmill Museum in Oklahoma.. Another great example of the old windmills that kept the country folk going.. Thank you my dear I love these cards.
The card shows this The Dempster No.1 Windmill a self oiling winmill .This Windmill was blown down in a tornado .This windmill is unique in that it is an oil bath mill with an 16 Feet wheel but could also be purchased with a wooden wheel ..This type was manufactured between 1922 -1929 . Thank you once again Ann.. This must have been a really interesting day out at this Museum in Shattuck Oklahoma.

This is the view of the George Schultz General Merchandise Store Originally built on Main street in 1904 and now The Shattuck Widmill Museum in Shattuck Oklahoma  a great winter scene..  I really am lucky to have such good friends  today sees the arrival of a large envelope containing nine great poststcards from the Shattuck Windmill Museum in Shattuck ..Oklahoma.. Thank you dear Ann for sending these cards to me.. and I will put them on here one at a time as they are all such lovely cards. I really them so much.

This postcards shows The 18 foot Fairbanks-Morse Railroad Eclipse windmill. A large designed mill to pump water from deep wells or for large amounts of water for railroad steam locomotives..This mill required a telescoped tower  and was manufactured from the 1870's to the 1920's .and was available in 16- 30 foot sizes..

What a great card.. I had admired this card and    !! here it is thanks to a really good friend in Oklahoma..Thank you so much Ann you are such a love.!! Thank you so much for sending me this card.. The  card shows the wind mill receiving some maintenace..and many thanks for the fantastic railroad stamps.

The Samson Oil-Rite windmillwas manufactured in Freeport , Illinois  from 1927-1942. . This windmill has a large 18 feet  wheel and originally pumped from a deep well in Texas .and was donated to the museum by The Heinrick Kolln Family.  what a great card.Thanks Ann
