Washington DC is the District of Columbia and a most wobderful city to visit with it many absolutley wonderful Museums and monuments to be seen  One needs a long time to take in and see what this amazing city has to offer.. New Mexico was the 47th state to join the US Union and gained statehood on January 6th 1912,
