  This  is  another great Lighthouse card from Germany   and another for my quickly growing collection.   This is a lovely black and white card that has a coloured part in the card  (red ) so affective  I have had a couple of other cards like this and I really like them. Thank you so much Anke and This lighthose mentioned is in Helgoland and is the site for an up coming meet up..  I trust all goes well and thanks for thinking of me with tyour kind thoughts and this great card /The seals look very comfortable there on the sand .!

 Recently released , this series of Australian wildlife . Furst day of release in Sydney 2000 on August 4th 2020.  This is another fine series on Australian wildlife that is issued by Australia Post.

Great Barrier Reef : QUEENSLAND :

I usually pick a few cards that I really love from the past year ..This particular card was a local release first day Maxi card distributed by Australia Post.. and I really like it !!.I guess it is the freedom the card shows of this marvellous Green Sea Turtle on the Barrier Reef...also I just love the colours..so calming and cool on these really hot days now in the beginning of 2019.I also like the cancellation postmarks on these first day releases. I hope you like my choices that I post also..

This is one of a new series of cards "First day release" maxi cards showing the many scenes in the great Barrier Reef . A lovely colourful set of cards this one showing The Green Sea Turtle enjoying the surroundings.This set was released  on August 10 2018 in Cairns Queensland. This card is also in my SWAP CARDS. look at the great cancellation postmark.

 A very colourful guy is this tiny little Corroboree Frog but also very poisonous..Located in the snowy Mountains of New South Wales this particular frog is on the most endangered list.There are two species The Southern Corroboree frog and the Northern Corroboree frog..both are located in both native to the southern highlands of N.S.W.. This frog is unique in that it makes its own poison rather than obtain it from their food source as do other species of frogs..Love the colours...but don't touch !!
