 A great card showing the old and the  new tram transport in the city of Adelaide Australia.  I have had the good fortune of riding both of the types of trams while visiting this fine city and its lovely attractions..  This is a souvenir card that I sent to myself !

  L lovely card showng some of the lovely scenes of this beautiful town of Bedigo Victoria  famous fro its victorian Archtiecture  especially the magnificent "Shamrock Hotel " and of course its part in  the great gold rush of the early 1850s. A lovely town to visit and ride the trams visit some great pubs !thank you Keith for thinking of me on your recent trip there .     A realy nice card from Kolkata showing the trams that are still in service there .These are the only operating trams in India and SE Asia sibce 1902 and are only 35 trams left now that are operating today .. Thank you so much Sanyaha for this great tram card for my collection This is a Postcard United card. Thank you for the nice stamps also.

I am always happy to receive a black / white postcard ..they are usually so graphic,This lovely card shows a street scene in the most beautiful Russian city of St.Petersburg. , in the background and was a famous Hotel with this street scene in 1930. A lovely card ..Spasiba Rina for this nice card.

I like black / white postcards that are of old scenes..This card shows The # 17 street car tram.In Shanghai. In March 1908 British concession from Shanghai Jing 'an Temple the Bund ..opened the first tram car ..The last old Shanghai tram on Nanjing Road ended in August 1963.She saw the last half century of Shanghai trams on 17 street..This is an Historic :Shanghai card"

Melbourne : VICTORIA.:

This lovely card shows the various trams new and old from the Victoria's capital city of Melbourne. These really are a joy to ride and it is a real shame that a bunch of morons got togeather and took the lovely trams of Sydney out of service...and by doing so caused the great traffic jams possible..as these were such a wonderful and very punctual and reliable "people mover.".Thank you so much for this card Keith ...must ride one of these again soon..The stamp got a bit of a work out..

This card I thought was a nice colourful souvenir card of my visit here on my Indian train journeys. Shows The electric non polluting trams in service here..My stay here was only five days due to the very polluted air..so hard to breathe properly...so had to go....just like in Beijing..Posted Kolkata 28 June 2015.

Christchurch: NEW ZEALAND.:

A nice Postcrossing card from New Zealand with a lovely view of a locally restored  tram that was a common scene here in the city until the mid  50's.. So good to see the history being kept ..usually by a dedicated few volunteers that feel that this wonderful historical transport should be kept for younger generations to see..  This is a local attraction today that can be seen near the Arts Centre area of Christchurch.. Thank you Michelle for this great card.

 A lovely card showing one of Tampas old  (replica ) streetcars..From 1892 Tampa's streetcars served the community until they were shut down in 1946 .. To the delight of local residents and visitors alike in October of 2002 The streetcars were re- introduced with eight new air conditioned  trolley replicas of the Old Birney Safety cars returned to downtown Chanelside and Ybor city areas a wonderful  return with this link to the past..Thank you for this card Jennifer and Bob.
