 This is a really lovely colourful card recently realeased as a first day maxi card and is in commemoration of Australia's  Sprting Olympic team  for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. I really like this card and it is proving to be a popular card also..  I think the majority of people love to watch manyevents in the Olympics ..

This is a very interesting card !  A first day release card by Australia Post and it shows 
E.D Cowan.  The first woman in the Australian Parliarment in 1921.
Edith Cowan  shown here ( right ) at the  Lord Mayors Garden Party at the Queens Gardens Perth Western Australia 1929.This was a first day of release in March 2nd 2021  Perth Westrn Australia 6005.

Busselton ... WESTERN AUSTRALIA.:

 Thank you Keith for thinking of me with this another card from Western Australia and your recent trip there. What a great aerial view of this amazing wooden jetty and its size !!.. I have also visited this amazing Jetty in the town of Busselton and is hard to comprehend the building of it. Th e Busselton wooden Jetty is the longest wooden structure in the Southern Hemisphere : has its own train line that was used for the loading and unloading of shipping ..
  Thank you mate and trust you visit to this lovely place was enjoyed as much as I enjoyed it   had a swim here as it as really hot..  not long after reports of great white shark here .. OHHH !

Maragaret River Western Australia.

 Thank you Keith for this card from Margaret River  great memories here ! A great area to spend a couple of days and just a lovely part of the coutry  .Since the first commercial plntings of vines in 1967 This region  Margaret River has built a famous International reputation for its magnificent wines that are eagerly sought after at home and overseas.. Not only its fine wines but this is also becoming a very famous place for its surfing qualities. Thanks for thinking of me on your travels there mate.!!

 A really great way to start the day with a swim at the beach . This card looks so enticing with the steps heading down to the baech  This beach is one of 10,000 beaches that are along the huge Australian  Coastline .  A lovely card from Mandurah  and a great shot of the beach ! Thanks again Keith for this nice card from Mandurah !  great place.. Love Western Oz and am sure that you enjoyed your recent trip over there,, Thanks for thinking of me on your trip.

Busselton : WESTERN AUSTRALIA.:

  This is a great view of the Busselton Jetty In Busselton WA..  This is the longest Jetty in The Southern Hemisphere and has its own railway line . This was used to service personnel and transport goods and materials to ships anchored at the far end of the jetty  . A lovely place to visit and also a great plcae for a swim on the beach at the left hand side of the card  I had a swim there..  lovely spot.! Thanks Keith fo thinking of me with the gret card from Busselton and am sure you like this spot !!

 East Perth AUSTRALIA.:

  A really nice first day release maxi card by Australia Post Commemorating 50 YEARS of The amazing" Indian Pacific Railway"  that runs from Syney New South Wales. to Perth Western Australia,  The train is one of the longest train Journeys in the world that takes three days plus  at almost 4000 kilometers   from The Indian Ocean on the West  Coast to the Pacific Ocean on the east, Coast.( hence the name ) . This is a magnificent train journey to take if you like trains as much as I do..  I thouroughly enjoyed my trip as it was the first stage of my "Around The World " by train journies..
This first day release card was released in East Perth  6004 on the  11th of February 2020.

Green Bushes . WA.

 I beleive that this lovely "First Day" release of  Australian Wildlife Maxi cards have been released in the light of the most recent tragic bushfires that has seen the huge losses in our native wildlife . This card shows the "Common Wombat"  and is one of a few different species of the wombat found in different parts of the country ..  This card was relaesed on 16 December at Green Bushes Western Australia. 6254 : I really like this series of maxi cards.

Albany was a large whaling station located in the south western part of Western Australia.. and today  one can see the remnants of that dreadful industry .  A great new card release from Australia Post.for the commemoration of 100 years of  Railway across Australia.The card  is a first day release "Maxi Card" with postmark  release 4th July 2017.The card also shows  The preserved Locomotive GM2.located at the National Railway Museum.. Port Adelaide South Australia. Known now as the Indian Pacific train that travels from the Pacific Ocean ( Sydney ) to the Indian Ocean ( Perth ) and back Western Australia.One of the worlds famous rail journeys.I have done this journey and recommend it to any train lover..

The card shows The Magnificent Black Swan which is The State Emblem of Western Australia..A lovely bird that is unique to Western Australian and are found in the South -east , south-west , and along the Eastern coast and at times they can be found in flocks of may  number thousands..
