This is the 2017 Australia Post release of the "Year of the Rooster". This celebrates The Chinese New Year and the zodiac sign for this year is the Rooster.. also is the stamp sheet of the release also for the "Year of The Rooster" These stamps are always so colourful and very popular on their release..I meant to add this card long before this as it was released in February..I collect the Chinese New Year cards every Year of  The Australia Post releases.. also I collect as many different stamps as I can from various countries that release these stamps and cards.

 Finally arrived back from where it started ...This  "Year of the Rooster" chain card set out in February for it's journey From Sydney Australia to Sabah Malaysia then Saigon Vietnam and then to Bangkok in Thailand before finally being sent back to Sydney..Thank you everyone who did this card with me : Arrived Sydney 09 April..after two months ...Really great "Year of the Rooster" stamps from the many countries posted.Thank you...Terimah Kasih.  .Xie Xie.  Cam on. ..to everyone.

A surprise in the mailbox yesterday..a card and an envelope with more cards from a good friend in Singapore and fellow card swapper..This unusual card I am told was found in a local market and .is another by a graphic designer celebrating The Chinese New Year 2017 .The "Year of the Rooster" with stamp released for this occasion by the Singapore Postal Service.. What a nice surprise with ll my cards today is this lovely card from Wei Chi of The Chinese New Year postcard release by Taiwan Postal service for 2017: The Year of The Rooster in The chinese Zodiac..Such a lovely card with embossed red Rooster..also the love postmark and cancellation stamp on the Maxi Card.. Thank you so much Wei Chi this is wonderful and Xie Xie,,also the lovely stamps.

 What a most lovely card that I have just received from a good friend in Hong Kong.. The card is the latest release of "The Year of The Rooster" 2017 by Hong Kong Postal Service and is one of a series of New Year Postal cards of The Zodiac Animals... it has perforated edges so it can be opened to reveal the message inside.. I was reluctant to do this as it is such a lovely card but also wanted to read my friends message.
