Thanks Arnold...what a great surprise card this is and also another.. This one being from American Samoa.. my first card from this Pacific Island..The card shows a lovely beach scene from the village of Alao , Tutuila The largest Island.. Thanks again mate for this lovely surprise card..

Another welcome card arrives from the Galapagos Islands and thank you Deirdre for remembering me on your visit to this amazing place..So many wonderful Islands to visit here with each island having its own unique animal and birdlife..Card shows red crabs and are to be seen by the hundreds allover the rocks by the ocean..

Easter Island.

Easter Island : CHILE.:
A great fun card (must be ) from a good friend showing the  big stone statues  (moai's )"beneath the surface" that are located on Easter Island.  These giant moai statues were carved by the Rapa Nui people who lived on Easter Island  (known as Rapa Nui )..Thank you Arnold for this card... I like it  a good swap.

Islas Galalpagos : ECUADOR.:

This is a lovely card from a wonderful longtime friend from her visit to The Galapagos Islands..Thank you so much Deirdre for thinking of me...The card shows a pair of Frigate Birds and the Male bird with the big red "bag" under his beak that is so prominent of these birds. I remember going to this particular Island where these birds were located  and watching and photographing them there on my visit..so many different and colourful birds on these Islands ,along with other amazing wildlife. Such a lovely card ..Thank you so much Deirdre..

 A lovely serene card from French Polynesia showing a local Catarmaran type doubled hulled  , canoe ended  boat.. sorry..don't know the name of this type..but local native craft. anchored in a nice setting in  The Marqesas.. Thank you so much for this card Bert..I really like it..

This was my first stop on My "Around The world By Train " journey ( 4 ) . Hawaii was a great place to stop and break the long flight from Sydney To  Seattle ..Mainland USA.. A five day stopover here was fantastic enabling me to see some things that I missed on my last visit here..This Time I made sure that I got backto Pearl harbour and visited the mighty USS Missouri.that is now a USN Museum ship.Also with the good weather, a few waves, and a surf...few Mojities, and a great visit to the Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu..From here it was a flight with Delta Airways to Seattle WA.

Vanuatu.:Hideaway Island.

Within this Marine Sanctuary near port Vila in Vanuatu Hideaway Island is the location of the worlds only underwater Post Office ,Sited by Vanuatu Post this official and currently unique postal outlet was approved by Ni Vanuatu.Open for divers and snorkelers to "post mail" these items plus any sent to the Main Post Office will be specially postmarked before they are delivered both locally and internationally.
  This is a first I must say not only the location but this card is posted underwater in Vanuatu...
