"The Rat " is the first in the twelve year cycle of animals on the chinese Zodiac calendar.  and it includes 1912,  1924, 1936, 1948 , 1960 , 1972 , 1984 , 1996 , 2008 , 2020, .

  This is a lovely colourful card showing the markets on the "Chew Jetty " located in Penang Malaysia. This is a Postcrd United swap postcard ..Thank you Shufen..
  The "Clan Jetties" are a floating village with traditionl rustic houses built on stilts by Chinese immigrants in Georgetwown from the 19th century .There are six different clan jetties and each individual jetty is name after the particular family.   Thank you Shufen for this fine card.
