  Just arrived today this fine card from a surprise card member Thank you Frank for this very interesting card  Of this This old Monastary. Castle and Unesco site now.. The card shows The Scloss Convey located in The town of Hoxter in North Rhein Westphalen. Originally  founded in 1815 as a monestary and then became a  castle in 1792  and now a Unesco site since 2014 . Thank you Frank for this card and stamps.

A great card ..A Unesco World Heritage Site..  another Unesco site for the colletion..   This is 'Gelatia'  a  medieaval Monastary complexnear the town of Kataisi in the region of  Imereti in Western Georgia. This complex was built in The Georgian " Golden Age "and was founded in the year 1106 by King David the IV of Georgia.and is recoginesed  by UNESCO. Thank you so much Khaty.. traust all is good  ..  great card thank you.

Thank you Khaty for thinking of me!!  especially as you get ready to go away on your trip..Always so nice to receive a card from Georgia...it always seems mysterious to me.. and a place that has been on my travel list of "must do's" for a long time.The card shows the Medieaval Monastery in Alverdi in the Eastern region of Georgia .This is from the 12th Century ...Thank you Khaty also the many nice stamps.

I thank you Khaty for always remembering me ..This card shows The Jvari Monastery , a sixth century Orthodox Monastery sitting dominatly atop the mountain in the sunshine ..This is a listed Unesco World Heritage Site.Thanks again.. love this card..and stamps.

 I have received this card from a very dear friend in Portugal.. I am told that this is a very old postcard !! I like it even more because it is an old card, as it is such a fine card....I love it!!...I see the very special stamp applied which is a set really.. I am so happy to receive such stamps knowing that my friend that sends it,  has to stand in line at the post office (usually) , buy the stamp..and affix it carefully to the card that they have also just purchased ,and then  hand write the card an act of love and friendship.This is why postcards mean so much to me.Thank you so much dear Graca. This card shows The facade of the Monastery of Alcobaca in Portugal. The construction of this large Monastery was ordered by Portugal's first King  (XI Century ) and was one of the most important of the Medieaval Monastery's in Portugal.There was a special canal that was diverted directly into the Monastery so fresh fish were always there to be caught for consumption by the local resident order of monks.This is a World Hertage site since 1989.
