 East Perth AUSTRALIA.:

  A really nice first day release maxi card by Australia Post Commemorating 50 YEARS of The amazing" Indian Pacific Railway"  that runs from Syney New South Wales. to Perth Western Australia,  The train is one of the longest train Journeys in the world that takes three days plus  at almost 4000 kilometers   from The Indian Ocean on the West  Coast to the Pacific Ocean on the east, Coast.( hence the name ) . This is a magnificent train journey to take if you like trains as much as I do..  I thouroughly enjoyed my trip as it was the first stage of my "Around The World " by train journies..
This first day release card was released in East Perth  6004 on the  11th of February 2020.

  Another of these lovely colourfully embossed Chinese New Year Postcards . for 2020 relaesed by Hong Kong Post  .. these are truly lovely cards  of The Year of The Rat for the Chinese New Year 2020..   I always like to receive Unesco World Heritage sites from world wide.. Here is a multi- view card that shows many such Unesco World Heritage sites in Germany.. A lovely multi view card with so many famous sites  Thank you so much Dagmar for this PIF card # 145..   I like it will add it  to my Unesco collection.

Another big surprise today from my dear friend in Hong Kong..  This is a  New Year zodiac card of the 2020 Year of the Rat from Japan.. Thank you so much Jenny for thinking of me oce again from your recent visit. you are so kind..A lovely card showing the cat watching the rats.!!!
