The days of trains in Laos are long gone and my arrival in the Capital Vientiane was by bus from Vang Vieng. I enjoyed my stay in Vientianne but was a little tired of being propositioned every where that I went while out and about ...especially at night..Even the hostel had a sign at reception.."NO PROSTITUTES ALLOWED IN ROOMS.." amazing really..I found a local Australian butcher and got a wonderful big T Bone steak for my evening meal...a real treat..
