Another card from my mate who always sends me a card from her various visits.. Here we have a card from Louisiana showing the Fleur de Lis..Known as The" Flowers of the Lily" The Fleur de Lis is a styelised Lily that has traditionally been used to represent French Royalty. While appearing on the State and City flags for years the Fleur de Lis has become the symbol of re birth and renewal in Louisiana after the destruction and devistation of Hurricane Katrina on August 29th 2005.
