A big surprise with this lovely card from a great pal showing the Herm Island...one of the Channel Islands.. What a beautiful looking beach and apparently a real shelly beach with many tiny shells . The Island lies about three miles off the east coast of Guensey and is a wonderful place for visitors who want to relax and enjoy the destination..There are not much in the way of habitation on the island there being one campsite , a pub, and a Hotel..The hotel offers accomodation for the visitors to really relax, with no clocks, radios or TV,s in any of the rooms and also the hotel is supposedly haunted, by all reports. there are also. no cars or bikes on the island .
