This is a lovely card yet again showing one the just so many sites that are allover historical Britain..This card shows 'The White Horse of Westbury" This famous site of the White Horse replaces an earlier horse that was cut into the hillside in AD 878. Alterations to it in1873 gave it a more natural appearance..Thank you the Glenn Family for sending this on your holidays through England.. Posted 22 April 1998.
