A lovely colourful card showing the" Route 66 Museum" in Clinton Oklahoma. Officially opened on September the 23rd 1995 this Museum is the largest Museum to be located on Route 66. The museum chronicles Route 66 from the inception of the road in 1926 to its de-certification in 1985. The museum displays explicit galleries conveying the History of Route 66 by decade..through interactive hands on exhibits and a Drive-In Theatre Showing" Route 66 an American Odyssey " The mission of the Museum is to keep Route 66 alive.. I enjoyed some of this wonderful Route 66 on my last visit to the USA and saw a lot of the highway through Oklahoma..This is an American Icon that is visited by many foreign tourists .. "The Mother Road "That starts in Chicago Illinois and goes all the way to LA California.
